What a disappointment. For anyone that saw the series on tv will be really disappointed with this release. This crop up version of the series should not have been released because it is so fragmented that the sage line is confusing. Major portions of the epic are left out that wait on tie the yarn together. I would not recommend this version of the explain because it does not report how wonderful this expose was. I would have gladly paid more for the complete series of the explain rather than be disappointed with this version.

Destilando amor is one of the best telenovelas I have seen. This novela revealed a worship that with stood all types of trials and through it all treasure prevailed. The actors were huge and the scenery was truly astounding. A MUST Glance for all of the Latina novela lovers. Enjoy:)

If you have any esteem of animation at all – the artistry, the depth, the impact – the Masters of Russian Animation volumes are a MUST Have. In this edition, Norstein’s “Hedgehog in the Fog” will tickle and please your visual imagination like NOTHING else! I presented this short film to an American suburban community center audience and they were SPELLBOUND! I’ve owned a lot of films on DVD (and sold a lot – crazy recession), but I’ll never relinquish any of the four volumes in this series. NEVER! Relish, with my regards.

This DVD is worth gold honest for the “Seasons” and the “Battle of Kerzhenets”. The Seasons is one of the most exquisitely fine films I’ve ever seen by one of the greatest animators of the previous century, the Russian Ivanov-Vano. It is made on a multiplane (I contemplate), using faded russian lace designs and russian toys. The music is the “Seasons” (naturally) by Tchaikovsky. It’s magnificent and whenever I obtain a chance to behold it, I always procure a sense of beauty and peace. Sometimes, I unprejudiced wish I could live in that magical, fairytale world that Ivanov-Vano created.

The “Battle of Kerzhenets” is another film by Ivanov-Vano based on Russian Orthodox icons. A feast for the eyes, handsome and recent in all respects. The bag is Rimsky-Korsakov.

Director David Cronenberg’s movies glisten with a surface sheen that is always perfect. His mise en scene is often pathologically devoid of human connection or touch, though his films are always belief provoking and often inferior in their select of the detritus of our lives. Is there any more aesthetic movie than “Dull Ringers? ” Any movie as noxious, off-putting yet compelling as “Shatter? ” (the version with Rosanna Arquette and Holly Hunter) .

In his terrific fresh film, “A History of Violence” Cronenberg has it both ways: his film features a straight forward site that he handles with impartial a tiny out-of-kilter quality that adds crunch and bite to the yarn of a man, Tom Stall (the quintessential strong still, Gary Cooper-type, Viggo Mortensen) who, when placed in a spot that requires swift and brutal force…vomits out the internal fortitude valuable from deep inside his psyche and bowels to arrive up with the goods to deal with the spot. “AHOV” then, is about violence, brutality and the far reaching and ever telescoping tentacles that both indicate as they wreak havoc on Tom, his wife Edie (the brilliant Maria Bello) and his family and friends.

Cronenberg is dealing with some lofty and controversial ideas here: Extinguish someone and forever pay the ticket for that destroy, whether or not the crime is justified or not. Commit violence and that violence colors everything that you are, everything that you do for the rest of your life. Once you occupy someone’s life how worthy of you, the essence, the soul, the heart of you is gone also?

Viggo Mortensen’s Tom Stall is strong of mind and morals, tender, vulnerable, upstanding but ultimately conflicted. Mortensen turns in a black performance that not only shows up Tom’s soft side but also his malevolent one as well. Maria Bello, usually miss-used in her previous films is a revelation here as Edie: smart, accomplished, dedicated and hopelessly in cherish with Tom but aware that many times being in fancy doesn’t mean you know everything about the object of that care for.

“A History of Violence” is Cronenberg’s “Vertigo”: his version of obsession, violence and retribution told the Cronenbergian way: slanted toward the perverse…bordering on the maniacal. Don’t blame Cronenberg because he is not Hitchcock, for he has learned his lessons from the master well. Blame him because he has arrive up with a film that is inspiring and multi-layered though: one as transparent as a silk hide, objective slightly out of approach…beckoning us in for a closer, scalpel-like investigation of what makes us tick, the buttons to punch to originate us react and the mechanics vital to allow us to exist.

David Cronenberg always does films that tend to ogle at human nature in a different way: sexuality in Rupture and changes in personality in the Skim. With this film, he gets into what makes people violent and how far it can go, particularly when it comes to saving family members and loved ones. It’s a nice exploration but as a film it really left me chilly, with highlights being 2 sex scenes and a couple shots of substantial violence.

Tom Stall is a family man with 2 kids leaving in a limited town. He runs a local diner which one night attracts some criminal attention, which Tom ends up disposing of rather cleanly. It attracts some more attention, this time from local news and including a uncommon guy with an even stranger notice and tells him that Tom had a grand different life than he does now.

While David Lynch likes to design really unique surrealist films, David Cronenberg likes to do films that steal a ogle at transformation and ways people react to things. These 2 will always accomplish captivating movies but I kind of lean towards Cronenberg ones, even though I don’t really contemplate many of them. To me it’s a misstep though as the film after it ended didn’t really last with me on any level.

Casting is quite solid across the board, including William Injure, who finally puts in some menace into his “woke up too early” jabber. Viggo is always mountainous although he does have this tendency to dispute sometimes and Maria Bello is always estimable. Ed Harris is effective as a villain, with a very uneasy feeling you accumulate whenever he’s around.

As for the violence in the film, it’s not incredibly violent. There’s a couple of shots that are cringe-inducing such as what happens when you punch someone in the nose a bit too great but it’s actually not as violent as you would contemplate. The 2 sex scenes are not that graphic but it’s definately not candlelight and blowing curtains, you don’t really seek remarkable during them but using your imagination they’ll bag graphic.

After the film was over I remember thinking “what was the point of this one? “. Unlike the Wing which was tantalizing or Smash which was incredibly erotic in the strangest sense, this doesn’t have any kick to it. It’s worth a rental but I wouldn’t choose it unless it was a gift from someone.

LOST IN Area began as a serious attempt at an enthralling science fiction TV program. It was starting to degenerate into something quite different by the slay of the first season and in the second season, the change was paunchy blown. No longer was it a serious expose. Indeed it was quite amusing. “Campy” is the most current description.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Lost in Space – Season 2, Vol. 2! Click Here

The change in format resulted in changed characters. Dr. Smith started out as a wrong but incandescent villain but is nothing like that in the second season. In fact, he has become the star of the demonstrate. He is venal, selfish and not very quick-witted but he is lots of fun to laugh at. Will is the other star of the expose. He was always depicted as exceedingly incandescent but he seems to have a soft status for Smith and the Robot, the third of the first tier stars. The rest of the group are exiguous more than background characters. Penny has a few prominent roles but Judy might as well not be there. Sometimes she utters less that a dozen words in the course of an episode.

All of these stories are exceedingly comic and the “science” aspect is truly silly. Pseudo scientific terms abound and are quite meaningless. All science fiction requires the suspension of disbelief but this series requires something more. It requires disbelief to be locked away safely where it has not the slightest possibility of intruding. In spite of this, the series works. It works because it does not recall itself seriously. It is all done in fun and no one, even a child, could catch any of it seriously. This is apt in terms of epic, special effects and, especially, aliens. Mostly, it is a vehicle to let Smith be a afflict in the backside.

This location includes the following episodes:

The Questing Beast – a spacefaring knight in armor, complete with medieval camp, shows up looking for the questing beast. He takes Smith as a hostage and Will as his page. The basset hound wearing spectacles is a nice touch. The beast looks like a wicked between a giant Muppet and Barney the dinosaur. She takes in Penny and gives lessons in elocution, manners and snobbish British etiquette. Will learns to be a cynic for a while and then everyone learns about chivalry, even Smith.

The Toymaker – another intergalactic mail order catalog is found by Will and Smith. Dr. Smith pushes the inappropriate buttons and becomes piece of the catalog. Naturally, Will has to do the same thing. Meanwhile, a “fissure” threatens to crack the planet to pieces. It turns out that Will and Smith have been transported to the realm of a cosmic toymaker who thinks they are toys. When clerks from the store try to sort things out, chaos ensues. It’s a normal episode.

Mutiny In Location – Dr. Smith tries an experiment in rain making. In doing so, he destroys the weather site. He is ostracized as a result. As he wanders off in a huff, he finds a damaged spaceship captained by an admiral who acts like a vestige of the Nelsonian navy and dresses like a refugee from Wellington’s army, complete with tricorne. Will and Smith acquire pressed into the service of the admiral who was the victim of a mutiny which saw him cast away in the first site. His treatment of his pressed hands threatens to incite another mutiny. Square rigged location ships? This is magnificent screwy even for Lost in State.

The Dwelling Viking – Dr. Smith is gifted with the gloves and war hammer of the Norse god, Thor. For Smith, these seem like the keys to satisfying his desires of avarice. This is especially apt when a Valkyrie shows up to hail him as the most worthy of all. Unfortunately for Smith, and all around him, with power comes responsibilities such as battling frost giants and the like. He also comes between Thor and his wife, Brunhilde and a fight to the death is in order. Smith gets out of this by psychoanalyzing Thor into a babbling idiot. At least that section is realistic.

Rocket to Earth – An itinerant magician happens upon the area family Robinson. The predicament is that Dr. Smith is the only one who can observe or hear him. This leads everyone, including Smith, to deem he is going crazy. It helps that the magician is having fun making Smith go crazy. Eventually, Will and the robot figure out that the alien is accurate but not a very ample magician. He does, however, have a place ship reputedly able to approach earth. That leads Smith to try and rep a job as a magician’s assistant so that he can win a prance to Earth. The technical term, I consider, is “sorcerer’s apprentice”. Smith is not a very splendid magician either but it is not his magical skills that beget him an magnificent employee. It is his “expendability”. He probably would have been expended had it not been that Will winds up on the same ship.

The Cave of the Wizards – Smith gets amnesia and that makes his mind receptive to being taken over by an alien force. Another blow to the head restores his memory but not before he utters a wish to have his occupy ship in the hearing of the alien machine. The result is an base replica of the Jupiter II. Meanwhile, it looks like the Robinsons finally have the valid Jupiter II ready for open but there is a narrow start window. That window is threatened when the aliens who are controlling Smith dwelling him up as their ruler. This is another one that pushes even more than usual at credibility.

Treasures of the Lost Planet – Smith stumbles into a cave that seems to gain a pirate’s savor trove but is disappointed to catch there is miniature of value. All he finds is a disembodied mechanical head. Meanwhile, Capt. Tucker, a status pirate from a previous episode shows up and Will has to rescue him from some other plot pirates. It turns out that the head is the key to a large esteem. Gaining the admire requires convincing the head that Smith is actually a craven, backbiting and untrustworthy pirate himself. It works.

Revolt of the Androids – Verta, an android from the celestial department store and a previous episode shows up on the Robinson’s planet. She is calm striving to become more human but her particular line has been discontinued. As a result, she is ordered to be disassembled. Failing to glimpse the justice in the location she flees and a destroyer android is sent after her. While Verta is being sheltered by the rest of the family, Smith, Will and the robot hook up with the destroyer who is having mechanical difficulties. They are unaware of Verta’s presence and try to fix him up. Smith wants to exercise the destroyer to rep access to the cave of a monster that hoards rubies. Typical Smith avarice. The thought to attach Verta involves convincing the destroyer that she is human. She does this by giving him lessons in being a human. It degenerates into a robotic adore fest.

The Colonists – With as many visitors as they have, you would contemplate that the Robinsons’ marooned spaceship is located at Tall Central Plot instead of some out of the plot planet. In this episode, the family is trying to position up a series of communications relays when aliens kill all of the equipment at once time. The source of the destruction is a princess from a bustle of women warriors and she does not like men. Furthermore, she has decided to claim the planet for colonists from her planet. The men from the Jupiter II are to provide the slave labor to produce things ready. The women are to become members of the current society. Unfortunately, Penny seems to like the recent regime. Smith, of course, tries to worm his procedure into the expedient wishes of the women.

Trip Through the Robot – Smith manages to push the imperfect button damaging the electrical system of the ship. Unfortunately, Smith had neglected to recharge the robot for a few weeks and now recharging him could further harm the ship and achieve everyone in wretchedness. To prevent misfortune to the Robinsons, the robot wanders off to die alone. Will and Smith follow after him to try to acquire a solution but are unprepared for what they obtain. The robot has wandered into a “hazardous position” and collapsed from lack of power. A odd gas causes the prone robot to grow to a tremendous size and that is how he is found by Will and Smith. They arrive up with an plan to go into the robot and “reverse the ions” to shrink him succor to normal size. The interior of the robot turns out to be a risky position. I clear don’t remember anything like this from engineering school.

The Phantom Family – While Dr. and Mrs. Robinson are off doing “something else” the family is attacked by an alien. Will happens to be out of camp at the time as well. When he gets relieve, he finds not his family but duplicates of his family. The alien wants Will to grunt the duplicates how to be “staunch people” in exchange for getting his family succor. Teaching the duplicates to be actual is difficult except for the case of Dr. Smith. His duplicate is unprejudiced as tainted as the unique and causes as considerable grief. The duplicates are to be archaic by the alien to keep his speed. Since he is depending on Smith, his hasten is in misfortune.

The Mechanical Man – A hurry of slight robots that survey honest like THE robot kidnap Smith and ask that the robot be released from slavery. They want him to encourage as their leader. The robot is torn between loyalty to his occupy kind and loyalty to his “Family”. As it turns out, Smith has more of the qualities that the miniature robots want than the immense one does so a limited bit of transference is in order. Its kind of fun to peep Smith sucking up to the robot but this episode is at the obscene slay of the silliness spectrum.

The Astral Traveler – While trying to win out of a storm, Will and Smith duck into a cave for shelter. While there, Will finds a portal to a Scottish castle frightened by the trustworthy ghost of a laird executed for treason. After a brief tour, the portal reappears and will makes it befriend to his family. No one believes his epic except for Smith who will, of course, bewitch at any straw to catch wait on to earth. In an attempt to note the truth of his chronicle, Will heads benefit to the cave and finds that the ghost has near through and is stuck on this side. He has also lost his set as a ghost and has a physical body again complete with gout. It is decided to send Smith through to arrange for a rescue party but things go corrupt, as they usually do with Smith, and Will goes through as well. The ghost takes delight in tormenting Smith once he regains his ghostly properties.

The Galaxy Gift – Another alien shows up and this one is being chased by other aliens with heavy ordnance. He befriends Penny offers him refuge in the Jupiter II. That hacks off the other aliens to no extinguish. In return for her kindness, the first alien gives Penny a special amulet. It turns out to be the item that the second group wants and exertion ensues.

The final disk has the “Special Features”. It basically consists of a slideshow with audio interviews from Mom and Pop Robinson and Dr. Smith.

The second season of LOST IN Set is somewhat of a mixed bag. It features some of the worst episodes of the series (“The Questing Beast” is absolutely unpleasant), yet it also has quite a few highlights, including the truly savory “Scoot Through the Robot” and John Carradine’s memorable performance in “The Galaxy Gift”. All of the second-year episodes are attractive and radiant, though, and are helped by Billy Mumy and Jonathan Harris being at their keen best.

The latest word on the third season DVD release indicates that the final year will be released in two parts, impartial as season 2. The tentative release date for Season 3 – share 1 is March 2005, with fragment 2 due out in June. As most fans probably know, the modern network broadcasts of the third-year episodes did not feature the classic cliffhanger endings, but rather a traditonal preview of the following week’s adventure. These previews are slated to be included in the upcoming DVD sets.

One of Sandler’s better films in modern years.

If you like Knocked Up, you will more than likely like this film. It has a lot of the same seriousness, minus all the pot jokes and references. Yes, there is a lot of complains about the same type jokes but I barely noticed them. It’s about stand up comedy. All stand up comedians talk about the same thing so anyone who said their are too many obvious jokes has never seen a stand up comedian before. That said this movie is cute, witty, sparkling, and comic. I cried, I laughed, and loved every second of Silly People.

Judd Apatow’s Droll People is going to divide audiences (it certainly has divided critics) . Those going in expecting a comedy along the lines of The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up or any other of the films in the Apatow-verse will bask in it but not admire it. But that reaction may be more a product of the misdirection in the marketing of the film than anything else. Silly People is going for something more emotionally complex, and it succeeds on that count.

Without situation on place, the film focuses, by and ample, on the professional and personal lives of a group of comics and laughable actors at various rungs of the note business ladder, from Adam Sandler’s George Simmons, a hugely successful film comedy star who came out of the stand-up comedy world, to Seth Rogan’s Ira Wright, a novice laughable who is drawn into George’s world, to Ira’s friends, who are his roommates, who are his competitors.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Funny People! Click Here

The favorite thread running through these characters is inflame and aggression, both explicit and sublimated. They consume jokes, jobs and women from each other (listed here in order of importance to the comics) . The relationship between the performers and their audiences is similarly complicated (it’s become a cliched observation that comics talk about “killing” the crowd) .

Interestingly, although all the comedians portion this madden and aggression, it’s only those who scuttle those dim emotions into similarly black comedy that have preserved their spark. The farther the comics stray from their enrage, the worse their comedy – as evidenced by Sandler’s character, who churns out family-friendly claptrap and co-star Jason Schwartzman’s Yo, Narrate!, a self-important sitcom (both brilliantly captured in clips woven into Silly People) .

In Laughable People, comedy is the universal language by which these emotionally-constricted characters communicate. There are awkward hugs and half-hearted attempts at compassion, but the most tender moment, coming leisurely in the film, involves one character expressing admire by writing jokes for another.

All this aside, I don’t want to lose notice of the fact that this is a laughable, though-provoking, emotionally-involving film. But that said, in an peculiar plan, Laughable People echoes Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull. Both films are about furious and aggressive people who channel those drives in socially acceptable ways. (Even more oddly, Billy Crystal’s horrific and mawkish Mr. Saturday Night attempted more overtly to be the Raging Bull of comedy, and the less said about that exertion the better.)

It wasn’t until the tear home from the movie that it occurred to me that the “droll” in the title Humorous People could have two meanings; there’s laughable ha-ha, and funny-odd. Here, the people are intentionally, compellingly both.

Worth the wait, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

IMHO, Superman was unbiased as pleasurable a series as Batman, the Consuming Series. The stories were not on a higher level, but a different one. Batman reflected film noir dramas as well as having a classic, vintage feel. Superman was a microscopic more lighthearted, more yarn, and had a new feel. As with the Batman series, each Superman episode can be a stand alone episode in itself, yet it all adds distinguished detail to the series as a whole making it a signicantly rich world. The consequences and the results of determined episodes are also touched upon from time to time and even lay the foundation for even more dramatic storytelling.

This DVD station includes the first 18 episodes of the series I possess. Starting it off is the 3-part “Last Son of Krypton,” which retells the origin of Superman and does a suitable job establishing the series. Other favorites of mine that are on this DVD site are “Stolen Memories,” ” The Main Man, Parts 1 & 2,” “My Girl,” “Blasts from the Past, Parts 1 & 2,” and “Rush Demons.” This state does include all the episodes on the single disc release “Superman: A Tiny Portion of Home.” If you’re a fan of the series I recommend this situation over the single discs. If you’re a parent looking to simply amuse your children, the single discs may be an option to judge, but even so this station can be bought for less than $25 and has 18 episodes to boot. The only drawback in this area that I can assume of is that the second disc is a flipper, where one side contains 6 episodes and then the other side contains the last 6. It’s a minor complaint, as I’m impartial all too satisfied to have this series as a box location, but it may be an convey to some.

These are blooming films. “The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser” is one of the classics; the shot of the rye field in the wind alone is worth the impress of admission. It’s marvelous that Anchor Bay is emphasizing that they’ll rectify sinful disks, though, because problems abound. Thanks to an earlier reviewer for posting their complaints URL! On my copy of “Kaspar Hauser” the commentary simply won’t turn off (and it’s not that I haven’t figured out how, because it turns off on the other disks) . Then occasionally it turns off all by itself, but if you try to catch the subtitles, it turns attend on — so you can’t leer the film WITH subtitles but WITHOUT commentary. Exasperating! While I was fiddling with commentaries, however, I managed to stare the whole of “Heart of Glass” with commentary. “Heart of Glass” is not the most accessible film — not because, as Herzog says, it’s unimaginative, but because hypnotized actors are more like zombies than actors. But the film with the commentary on is the most surreal, inviting experience — the stories tedious the making of the film are an artwork in themselves. The same is correct of “Kaspar Hauser” — an unintended abet of the disk plight. Providing Anchor Bay makes expedient on their scandalous disks, this is a titanic area.

I have not reviewed this collection, only concept someone should list the contents. This information courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment:

It’s grand for fans of the unique episodes that this is being released. However, I am only a fan of the novel episodes that I watched when I was in fifth grade. They released the Inidgo season in three boxed sets and after hesitating I bought them to finally rewatch the extinct series and realized I not only found it delightful reliving my childhood but also found it more delectable than I remembered and filled with alot more tongue in cheek humor than the cutesiness so often associated with it. After years of listening to people my age bash it through later years I must have started thinking of it as a kiddy note, but when you survey it and if you don’t mind animation the writing is very silly, I had forgotten that was one of the reasons it was so intriguing apart from the feeling of adventure (that I peaceful in portion wish I could go on) .

As I’ve said lately I bought the Indigo sets and the Orange Islands station and loved rewatching them so I took a chance and bought the Master Quest Boxed sets 1 and 2 (which are season 5 of the explain), I didn’t contemplate they were overall as mountainous but the writing was peaceful very comical and the continued adventure of these characters, that felt like dilapidated friends from my childhood, was exciting enough to manufacture those sets very luscious. Now I reach to my pickle.

I belief in line with their original releases of the first seasons that VIZ would release the Johto Boxed Sets of Season 3, *The Johto Journeys, and Season 4, *Road to the Johto League Championship, but I haven’t heard or seen anything about them yet. I know those series were already released on DVD/VHS but only in individual releases of three episodes and the fourth season in releases of only seven episodes. I would great rather remove Boxed Sets of these seasons but for some reason they stopped putting out the obsolete episodes and only seem to be focused on the newer ones (which I saw once on tv and couldn’t stand the voices or the unique writing, but that’s unprejudiced because I didn’t grow up on it), I look alot of the Pokemon All Star releases planned for episodes around ‘Favorite’ Pokemon and I’ve seen Recent Frontier and Diamond and Pearl box sets out for release but no more Johto sets. I am a small annoyed by this, and though this product is sterling for your children or you if you like it, I honest want to be able to perceive the rest of the Johto episodes and come by them easily and inexpensively in the produce of a DVD status.

Someone please direct me if you ever know anything about the Johto sets or even if you’re objective waiting for them like I am so I know I’m not the only one left hanging by VIZ.

Sorry this review isn’t all that remarkable about the product listed but if you’re a fan of the newer episodes it’s a mammoth draw to regain them, if your more a fan of the older episodes I don’t collect the unique ones as well done and the newer Pokemon designs got too irregular for me, but you may savor them.

The sets are made of three slim disc cases and are held in sturdy cardboard slipcover cases, of which they poke out one begin side. Here is a list of the 17 episodes that should be on this status finishing out the tenth season based on the previous two:

501 An Elite Meet and Greet!__502 A Secret Sphere of Influence!

503 The Grass Menagerie!____504 One Astronomical Happiny Family!

505 Steamboat Willies!_______506 Top – Down Training!

507 A Stand-Up Sit-Down!___508 The Electrike Company!

509 Malice in Wonderland!____510 Mass Hip-Po-Sis!

511 Ill-Will Hunting_________512 A Maze-ing Hurry!

513 Sandshrew’s Locker_____514 Dawn’s Early Night

515 Ticket! We’re It…!_______516 Glory Blaze

517 Smells Like Team Spirit!

Also The TV Movie Rise Of Darkrai, available on DVD, supposedly takes plot between episode 506 and 507.

Years ago I utilize to gain the Police Academy box station but had to sell the darn thing as I was a broke college student (those were murky years) . The Police Academy films were never art but I enjoyed them for what they were – plain comedies with fun characters. Now I am joyful again because Warner Bros re-released the Police Academy films in 2 separate value packs (The first four are available in this collection called “4 Film Favorites: Police Academy 1-4 Collection” and the last three are in the residence “4 Film Favorites: Cop Comedy Collection” packaged with Loaded Weapon 1) . The packaging of these value packs isn’t nearly as frigid as the new releases (despite the dreaded snap cases) but overall the impress for these collections is unbeatable.

All four films are presented on 2 double sided discs. I don’t like double sided discs as they are easy to pain but then again the notice makes me forgive this. Be warned though as the top of the second disc can advance with some scuffs because the drawer the first disc sits on rubs against the top of the second disc.

Warner Bros did screw up on the details on the encourage. The wait on states that Police Academy 1 is in 16X9 widescreen and is loaded with special features – the same as the special edition release. This is not accurate. The edition they obsolete for this DVD space is the unusual out-of-print rotund shroud edition. This didn’t upset me too abominable because some of the sequels are also only available in elephantine mask…however this screw up could gain a lot of buyers inflamed. You have been warned. This isn’t the first time Warner has screwed up on the details on the shroud art. The Dirty Dozen/Kelly’s Heroes double feature proclaimed Dirty Dozen was anamorphic. It wasn’t. The 4 Film Favorites: Martial Arts release proclaimed the films were corpulent shroud and on double sided discs. They were actually widescreen and on single sided discs (for once a mistake in the favor of the purchaser!) . For people who need to know Parts 2 and 3 are anamorphic widescreen and Portion 4 is Fat Hide.

There you go, Police Academy 1 ISN’T widescreen as proclaimed on the box and the discs are double sided….but for the imprint one can’t beat this collection. Manufacture obvious you choose up the second residence to complete the series!

The first two reviews are correct: the version of the first film is the out of print fullscreen edition without the extras. However, the rest are the same as the released versions, along with Police Academy 4 aloof being (bafflingly so) a fullscreen version.
